Wild Lights Festival
Event on 2015-11-27 00:00:00
Friday, November 27, 2015 through Sunday, January 3, 2016
From 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
ECHO will be aglow during this celebration of winter light. With holiday trees, delicately hanging decoration, and amazing giant snowflakes, you can revel in the season of light indoors through our incredible exhibits.
The festival runs through Jan. 3, and includes seasonal encounters and demos (with live animals!).
Join Dec. 27 – Jan. 3 for an extra special celebration of the solstice, including:
Snowball flings: Daily at noon and 2 p.m. – Build your own catapult using metal hangers, plastic spoons, rubber bands, and cotton balls. Send them flying and we'll judge for distance and arch.
Whoo Goes There – Learn about different owls of the basin and get to know the species better, you never know who you might spy in the Vermont woods!
Animal visitors:
Birds with VINS Saturday, Dec. 19
Vermont Reindeer Saturday, Dec. 26.
Plus snowflake activities every day!
