The Aerolites began as the mutual brainchild of lead guitarist Jeremy Harple and pianist Victor Veve in the spring of 2010 in the woods of Vermont.  With sixty-two original songs in hand Harple and Veve flew out to Hollywood in January of 2011, where they collaborated with Oteil Burbridge (Bass Allman Bros, Derek Trucks Band), as well as world-famous drummer Kenny Aronoff. This fine group of musicians completed the Aerolites’ self-titled first album and Harple and Veve flew back to Vermont to piece the rest of the band together.

With three new sought after vermont musicians added to the band, The Aerolites now tour coast -to-coast but stay true to their hometown roots of Vermont and the northeast, playing festivals, clubs, private, and commercial venues. The new touring line-up now includes Dannis Hackney (Death) on drums, Peter Bixby (Named By Strangers) on bass guitar, and Micah Sanguedolce (Domestic Blend) on guitar.

Recently, The Aerolites have recorded their second full-length album, “34 Mansfield” to be released October 12, 2013.  The group’s sophomore effort goes back to the band’s roots and was recorded in a historic Vermont farmhouse.  Each member of the new band played a key role in the development and implementation of the album as a whole, showing that now, the band had it’s own sound.

The band is looking to book extensively in support of this new album, so log on, check us out everywhere: Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and www.theaerolites.com.
